When I first started dreaming of this website it was in May of 2019.  I sat down with my friend, Steve in Florida, who had agreed to help me create the website.  We figured the bones out - a very rough and simple plan, but it was at least a plan.  We talked about the site being a space to showcase jewelry that I created but also a space to talk about struggles and life and kids - authentically.  I also needed a space to use for healing from my breast cancer diagnosis.  Then, the universe stepped in with another plan and I was called to foster a 1 day old baby boy and Make It Crazy Beautiful was put on hold.  Fast forward to 2025…that baby boy eventually became our son and is now 5!  And, I have just launched that dream from 2019, Make It Crazy Beautiful.  

This world is so fast-paced, overwhelming and hard at times, which makes it difficult to find moments of peace or meaning at times.  We often forget to pause, breathe, and appreciate the beauty of what is all around us.  This is where Make it Crazy Beautiful comes in.

My Jewelry:  

I have been creating jewelry since 2007, starting out on Etsy and doing various art shows and markets.  Once kids came along, I still continued making pieces but only for friends and family. I am now at a place where I can focus on my craft again.  

My purpose with the Jewelry Store is to create pieces of jewelry that inspire you to reconnect with your sense of purpose, your inner strength, and your beauty.  Through soulful and natural pieces, my jewelry is meant to be a reminder that you are worthy, that you are beautiful, and no matter what you are facing, you have the power to create something amazing in your life.  Each piece is handcrafted with intention and purpose.  It is meant to help you feel inspired and confident on your journey through this world.

My Blog:

My purpose for the Blog is my way of finding the strength that comes from vulnerability, the beauty in the chaos of everyday life, a way to share my story, and to create a space for connection and community with people who might be going through or have gone through similar things.  Whether someone is facing a serious illness, navigating mental health struggles, or simply looking for positivity, I hope that you will feel less alone, find inspiration, and support here.  I will share my personal experiences, advice that I have found helpful, resources to explore, inspiration, and hopefully build a community of like-minded individuals who will uplift one another.  I want it to be an ongoing conversation that helps inspire and make a difference in the lives of as many people as possible.

Make It Crazy Beautiful is not just about selling my jewelry - it is about making an impact.  I am passionate about healing, mental health, helping others and authenticity. These passions have all been part of my journey and in sharing my stories I hope to speak directly to those who might need to hear them.  I know that telling your story is not always easy, but I believe it can heal - both the one telling and the ones listening/reading.  I have a quote that I pinned a long time ago that inspires me to do just this:  “One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through and it will be someone else’s survival guide.”  So... I begin my telling my individual story through Make It Crazy Beautiful.

On the "Ulendos:  My Journeys Within" Page, I will dive deeper into my journeys of healing, mental health, and authenticity.  In the meantime, make it crazy beautiful!
