About Me
I graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a degree in Wildlife Ecology, specializing in Biology. Throughout my career, I’ve had a variety of roles, but most recently, I spent over 22 years in education, including time as an elementary school principal. As a mother of four beautiful children, I always balanced my career with family life. However, I've since stepped away from education for good to pursue what truly keeps me at peace. I am still exploring what to do with my life and I'm putting myself out there.
My love for crafting started at a young age. My grandmother taught me how to sew and crochet, and later, she introduced me to beadwork. I vividly remember making my first necklaces with tiny seed beads – that's where my jewelry journey began! I am mostly a self-taught silversmith, and I love working with sterling silver, brass, and copper. In 2006, I started creating with Precious Metal Clay (PMC) for friends and family, and gradually expanded my skills to traditional silversmithing. In 2007, I began selling my work online and at markets and shows. After taking some breaks, I’m excited to be back at it, inspired by the world around me.
Thank you for supporting my small business and for being part of this creative adventure!
